The BP battery is designed to kick in when power is lost, IE. as a backup or bridge between one energy source and another. They are ideal for voltage-based installations, IE. where a constant voltage needs to be maintained but is not always available.

They are designed to be standby-batteries, but can also be cycled daily or regularly. They will last at least 1600 cycles at 80% DoD, and come with a 5-year warranty.

These batteries also have BlueNova’s proprietary CryptoLock^TM anti-theft technology, rendering them useless when redeployed without owner authorisation.
